WARNINGS:

*** Do not enter dome when telescope is under remote control ***
Always disable remote control (see Telescope Control  before working in the dome


1. Camera Dewar Vacuum

   
Check the pressure gauge (side of electronic, near telescope hatch).
    Normal reading is 0.0 to 0.1  mTorr.
    If pressure exceeds 10 mTorr, camera should be pumped. PleaseNotify Yale (see contacts)

2. Cryocooler Pressures

   
Check the helium pressure on the two cyocooler compressors.
    Inlet pressure should be ~60-80 PSI.
    Outlet pressure should be ~300-320 PSI
    If the difference (outlet - inlet) is more than 260 PSI, notify Yale

3. Water Temperatures

     Check the temperature of the cooling water for the two cryocompressor.
     If the water temperature exceeds 40 deg C, notify Yale

4. Camera Power  (underneath stairs on dome floor)

    
Check the green light on the camera power supply.
     If the power supply light is off, notify Yale.
     Turn the camera power back on, if possible.

5. CCD temperatures (control room rack)

   
Check the CCD temperatures .
    Typical temperatures are -125 to -115.
    If temperatures are outside of this range, notify Yale.

6.  Telescope Operations

    
Disable telescope remote control
     Test dome rotation, dome open, and dome close
     Re-enable telescope remote control
     If telescope dome does not operate properly, notify Yale
